From this day on your goal is to hit the 5-million-dollar mark. And once you hit that you are going to hit the 10 million!” Now I went into Foundations thinking I knew so much. It turned out I was so wrong. Over the next 7 days I learned more about my business than I ever had before. I realized my finish line was nowhere near the million-dollar mark.
I created systems I had only dreamed of having. I created some of the best friendships with people who have the same drive and work ethics as myself. After touring Tom’s location and seeing how his operation was set up, it inspired me to continue building my company. I did not even know it was possible to have multiple locations all be run from one primary location! Today I have 3 locations in different cities, and they are all run out of 1 office. We are on point to close 2021 at 2.5 million and I don’t plan on stopping.
Foundations will be my 3rd time going and I guarantee I will learn even more this time. There is so much information to learn and with hard work and dedication you too can level up your company for success. I can’t wait to be inspired again this year at Foundations.

To achieve substantial profitability, cleaning business owners must implement effective strategies that drive revenue while minimizing costs. This involves optimizing operational processes, pricing services competitively, and leveraging technology to streamline tasks.
For instance, adopting software solutions for scheduling and invoicing can significantly reduce administrative burdens, allowing owners to focus on growth. Additionally, regular training for staff on upselling techniques can enhance service value, leading to increased customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Establishing a strong brand is crucial for cleaning businesses to stand out in a competitive market. Effective marketing strategies, including social media engagement, local SEO, and community involvement, can enhance visibility and attract new clients.
For example, creating informative content that addresses common cleaning challenges can position your business as an industry leader. Furthermore, utilizing customer testimonials and case studies in marketing materials can build trust and credibility with potential clients.
Networking plays a vital role in the growth of cleaning businesses. Attending industry conferences and local events allows owners to forge valuable connections, share experiences, and gain insights from successful peers.
Participating in workshops and seminars not only enhances skills but also opens doors to potential partnerships. These connections can lead to collaborative opportunities, referrals, and increased business exposure within the community.
In the rapidly evolving cleaning industry, continuous learning is essential for business owners to stay ahead of trends and best practices. Engaging in professional development through courses, webinars, and certifications can enhance knowledge and skills.
For instance, understanding new cleaning technologies or eco-friendly practices can differentiate your services and attract environmentally conscious clients. Investing in personal growth not only benefits the business but also empowers owners to lead their teams more effectively.
